Manoir Demouret Sarlat is a hidden gem, being situated on a quiet no through lane and only a few minutes walk to the medieval centre, feeling like the countryside in town! Boasting free private on site parking, this recently modernised Manor House retaining many original features, has a light and spacious living area encompassing the whole of the first floor. The space includes 2 comfortable bedrooms with en-suites, one of the bedrooms having air- conditioning, a guest lounge and dining area. Your private entrance has several steps to reach the front door from the parking area. On the other side of the property, the original, old characterful door leads out onto your private terrace with views over the fish pond with fountain and the town rooftops.
I have lived here in Sarlat for 14 years with my husband Steve running our first popular bed and breakfast, which was recently sold. We missed welcoming our guests so much that after moving here to our dream location we've decided to offer rooms in our new home! Steve is an engineer and I worked in the airline industry for 22 years, so customer service is in my blood and we look forward to welcoming you to Manoir Demouret Sarlat. N.B. We have two small adopted dogs, however they have no access to guest accommodation!
The reputation of Sarlat goes before it as a historical and gastronomic centre. There are twice weekly markets on Saturday and Wednesday plus night markets in the Summer. Restaurants galore to tempt you, with duck and foie gras often found on the menu. Many guests use Sarlat as a satellite hub to visit the many surrounding beautiful villages, chateaux and ancient caves. Manoir Demouret Sarlat is a hidden gem, being situated on a quiet no through road only several minutes walk to the medieval centre and people often comment that it feels like the countryside in town!
