Comfortable 3 bedroom house in quiet residential road, close to the City Centre and riverside quay. 30 minute walk to riverside quay (1.1 miles) and City Centre. A 10 minute walk to St. Leonards which has a village feel with a good selection of independent boutique shops, cafes / coffee shops, delicatessen, farm shop, fishmongers, pub. A few minutes walk to Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) - a great location for anyone working at the hospital! Suitable for an individual, a couple or small family. A great location for a city break for some sight seeing and shopping - or for a working stay. Downstairs the house has a modern fitted well equipped kitchen and bathroom. There is a spacious living room with comfortable sofas and a dining area. Also in the living room is a work table and chair. Upstairs, the 3 bedrooms are all of a good size. The main bedroom has a super king bed with cotton bed linen. The two other bedrooms both have single beds and are suitable for children. Outside there is a mainly paved garden which provides a space to sit and dine outside or have a BBQ. West facing, this garden enjoys the afternoon and evening sun - a real treat towards the end of the day. The house is in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the shops in Heavitree and St Leonards with its boutique shops, cafes and pub. Close by is the atmospheric riverside and quay where there is an excellent selection of restaurants, bars and some artisan shops. The city centre shops and cathedral are just near the quay so also nearby. The house is occupied by the owners when not rented and so there are some personal belongings in the property. There is an electric piano in the dining area and a cross trainer in one of the bedrooms which are not for use by guests. Our dog also stays in the house so if you or any member of your party has any allergies to dogs, please do not book this house as although it is fully cleaned be arrivals, this does not remove all allergens.
I will be available on the telephone and via email. In the event of a problem occurring during the stay, someone will be available to attend the property - this would normally be possible within 4 hours during normal working hours.
Quiet residential road, close to the city centre. St Leonards and Heavitree are both a few minutes walk away offering shops and restaurants. This property is suitable for families looking for a city break. It is not suitable for friend groups looking for a party stay - the property is mid-terrace in a peaceful neighbourhood. Within walking distance of city centre, shops and restaurants. Good bus services, bus stops within a couple of minutes walk. Parking is available on the street (requires daily visitors permits which are available at extra cost - please message us at least a few days before your arrival).
