Paul & Felicity are perfect hosts & the 4 of us (2 married couples) were made to feel welcome from the start. Very comfortable, clean rooms. Excellent cooked breakfast & my wife who is a coeliac, was catered for. Would not hesitate to go back!!

Barclay Court Guest House is a late 19th Century building and still retains many of its original features but with all the expected modern facilities. We have on site parking as well as unrestricted street parking. (secure parking for bikes). We are only a five minute walk down to the shopping centre and a fifteen minute stroll down one of Torquay's many hills to the harbour and sea front. The guest house is situated within a quiet residential area with easy access to all the amenities. If you just want to relax with a book or just take in the sun there is a south-facing garden with terraces. Or stroll down to the harbour for a wide choice of restaurants, various amenities and attractions that Torquay has to offer. Barclay Court Guest House in Torquay offers the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding areas. There are many miles of beautiful countryside in South Devon with its lovely scenery and pretty villages. You can walk along the South Devon Coastal Path or explore Dartmoor. The cities of Exeter and Plymouth are within easy reach as well as the beautiful and historic towns of Dartmouth and Totnes.
