Such a lovely and comfortable place. Dunstan is so friendly and the boat is huge - you have lots of space to move around and the bedroom is very separate to the rest of the area. Beau, the cat, is very sweet and comes and goes as he likes. This stay was 10/10, Dunstan even took us out for a morning ride in his electric boat. Everything is so accommodating and I cannot fault at all. Thank you - I shall be back!

The location is MIND BLOWING. Dunstan is the best host.” Nov19 Come aboard TAKK, our clean, comfortable, unique and stylish open layout widebeam. At twice the width of a narrowboat, you will enjoy a cosy, yet spacious feel. Even if you are tall, you will have the headroom to move freely once on board - please just mind your head on the way in and out. You get to learn the realities of managing precious finite resources. It does require some effort and we are available to assist you as required throughout your stay. PLUS, you will learn how to improve your resource consumption, costs and environmental impact at home! On the stern (rear) deck, there is an outside seating area and your main entrance into the boat through the kitchen. There are two deep steps, so you must be relatively nimble. The kitchen contains a full-sized fridge, oven and workspace, plus all the listed amenities and essentials you may need. The work surfaces are finished in distinctive copper, with purpose designed oak-faced cupboards that keep everything ship shape. The bathroom has a spacious shower with eco-friendly soap & shampoo, a 'Thetford Excellence' loo and a heated towel rail. Don’t worry, full instructions are given at checkin. Guests LOVE relaxing on the sofa by the stylish wood burner with its eco-friendly warmth, cosiness and sometimes even a little romantic ambiance…
