Fabulous location for visiting Bath. Easy access by foot, taxi, bus or self drive. The property has a very comfortable layout and delightful private views and garden down to the river. Jane keeps the property immaculately clean and the inventory is as comprehensive as you will find. We travel extensively and in our opinion this is among the top 3 properties of this kind that we have stayed in. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely self-contained accommodation tucked away down a private drive and surrounded by gardens. Situated 2.5 miles from Bath city centre in a pretty village with lovely country walks and easy access to the city centre by bus, foot or car. Own parking, private entrance, the accommodation combines sitting, dining and kitchen space with bifold doors opening onto the garden, bedroom (sleeps two) and bathroom. Outdoor sitting area overlooking garden.
The accommodation has a contemporary style with a mix of modern and antique furniture. It is well equipped and cosy with a smart TV which includes Netflix and business broadband, both wifi and ethernet connection. DVD player available on request. The contemporary kitchen has an induction hob, oven/grill, microwave oven, remote control extractor fan, fridge with small freezer compartment, washer/dryer, kettle, toaster and plenty of storage space. The bedroom has a double bed, quality bed linen and a large built-in wardrobe with hanging space and shelves. The bathroom is modern with ceramic tiles, heated towel rail and walk-in shower. There is a private parking space for a family size car. Access is tight for larger vehicles, however, there is free on-street parking in the village. We offer complimentary tea/coffee, biscuits and cooking essentials. I live on site in the main house, if you need anything please feel free to knock on the door or contact me by phone or text. I am always available if you need something or have any questions. On arrival if I am not in, there is a key safe where you can self check in. If you arrive early you can drop off your bags.
Batheaston is a residential area on the edge of the countryside. It is an ideal location for those who enjoy walking and cycling. It has a few pubs, a cafe, an Indian and fish and chips restaurant / take away, two convenience stores (Spar and Premier), a farm shop, and a Boots chemist. There are supermarkets within 10 minutes drive. You can either walk or cycle to Bath along the canal which is a scenic route, there are many beautiful countryside walks and cycling lanes. The nearest bus stop is 200m from the house, with frequent buses to Bath city centre. Solsbury hill is a short walk away. Easy access to Bradford on Avon (15 min drive), Dyrham Park National Trust property (15 min drive), Lacock Abbey (20 min drive), Bristol (30 min drive), Longleat safary park (36 min drive), Mendip Hills (45-min drive), Cheddar Gorge (50 min drive), Stonehenge (55 min drive).
