Badger’s Hut is a fully equipped, traditional shepherd’s hut nestled in the heart of the Eden Valley with stunning views across the Pennines, perfect for couples or for solo travellers looking for a unique stay in easy reach of the Lake District National Park. Located a short drive from Ullswater, Penrith and numerous picturesque Eden Valley villages, the hut would make an excellent base for people looking to explore the region, take advantage of several glorious nearby walking routes. Badger's Hut is situated in a spacious, green paddock area which is shared with one other shepherd’s hut, with both properties positioned to give privacy. Booked together, the two huts would also be ideal for a group trip. The neighbouring farmhouse is home to two friendly pygmy goats and a family of chickens who may make an appearance during your visit! The hut comes with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a king size bed, a fully equipped kitchen, indoor bathroom with an electric shower, under-floor heating and a log burner for cosy nights. It has its own patio which can be used for a bbq or for luxuriating in a private wood-fired hot tub while looking out across the fells.
