As you drive through the security gate to The Moorings at Parc Royale, you will instantly realise that this is no ordinary holiday park. You are entering a breath-taking haven, set amongst old and established pine trees hugging the bank of the River Tilt, in the historic village of Blair Atholl. Lazise Lodge is situated at the far end of the park, and benefits from little passing traffic from fellow park occupants, allowing you to experience the true feeling of being at one with nature. At first sight the lodge stands out from those around it, as something a little different and special, and it doesn’t disappoint. The lodge has been furnished and styled to a very high standard, with Italian leather sofas, Denby flatware and Dartington Crystal stemware. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large selection of cookware and utensils, if you wish to cook and dine in. On the private decking area you will find a BBQ, patio heater, table & chairs for your 'alfresco' dining experience. You will also find the Hot Tub and an L-shaped seating area with coffee table, where you can relax and enjoy the sound of the River Tilt flowing past. True Luxury!!
Hello I would like to welcome you to my family's holiday home in Blair Atholl. Having spent much of my childhood school holidays in Perthshire, we have always been drawn to Blair Atholl, and when the opportunity presented itself to become the owners of a holiday home in the area, we couldn't resist. It is such a special place. We have styled the lodge with your comfort in mind, as a place to unwind, relax and reconnect with nature. Please check out our reviews on TripAdvisor, to see what our previous guests have to say. Unfortunately due to my home location, I will not be on hand to welcome you personally, however I am only a phone call, text or email away, if you need any information or assistance. I do, however, have the most fabulous couple on site who will be there to assist you, if you need them. I love hearing from our guests, where they come from, what they wish to do when visiting the lodge and especially how they enjoyed their stay, and what was their favourite moment. Blair Atholl is at the southern entrance to the Cairngorm National Park, with all the outdoor pursuits it has to offer. You can fish off the river bank at the lodge in the River Tilt. If golf is your excuse for a good walk, then you don't have to stroll far, as there is a 9 hole course just a few hundred yards from the lodge. Blair Atholl is home to the historic Blair Castle with its wonderful architecture and acclaimed Hercules Garden. It is the home of the Duke of Atholl and Britain's only private army, the Atholl Highlands. If you are unable to stay away from the shops, then you have the impressive House of Bruar just 5 miles up the road to the north and Pitlochry with its vibrant high street, full of shops and cafes 7 miles to the south. Pitlochry is also home to the famous Festival Theatre, and the Blair Athol Distillery & Visitor Centre, and Edradour Distillery just a few miles from the town centre. Sit back and relax, by catching the train in Blair Atholl, you could be in Perth in about 40 minutes, Inverness in an hour and a half, Glasgow in little under 2 hours, and Edinburgh in a little over 2 hours, an excellent way to visit Scotland's major cities STRESS FREE!!
