I really loved the location, I love being out in the country side and it was lovely to see sheep outside of my window. The place was very clean and well thought out, there was so much space and was really quiet at night. I even had some homemade...

A really comfortable place to stay with everything you need. Great location for exploring the Peak District with some nice nearby towns for an evening meal. Hosts are really pleasant and there if you need them!

Rural countryside location yet in daylight can walk to pubs and Restaraunts ... or short drive. Quirky design.

Round-y-Corner is the annex to Roundy House, a late 18th early 19th century Cheshire Farmhouse. Set in 7 acres of Cheshire farmland, on the very edge of the Peak District, we enjoy uninterrupted panoramic views, stretching from the broad expanse of the Cheshire plain in the west, over the whole of Manchester, all the way to Rochdale and the Saddleworth Moors in the East. Any meals the guests may take can be taken overlooking our rolling farmland most often inhabited by sheep with their energetic lambs in the spring. This is a peaceful and quiet countryside setting and yet it enjoys excellent transportation links with both nearby Macclesfield, and South Manchester all the way to the City Centre. Adlington Station is 5 minutes away by car and the and the hourly train stops at Poynton. Bramhall, Cheadle Hulme, Stockport, finally arriving at Manchester Piccadilly 25 minutes later.7 minutes to Macclesfield gives the opportunity to visit the well known village of Prestbury. Manchester Airport Eastern Link road (A555) is soon to link with the new Poynton bypass bringing air travelers to our door in a little over 10 minutes by Taxi or Hire Car. Jump on a Bus at the gate for an adventure
The area is a haven for walkers + cyclists, being 3 to 5 minutes from the Macclesfield Canal towpath and the Middlewood Way (a disused rail line, converted into an excellent recreational bridleway, cycleway and footpath). Both lead you to the West Gate of Lyme Park where parkland and gardens surround the magnificent, National Trust owned, Lyme Hall. Lyme Hall is one of the venues to regularly host weddings along with Adlington, Shrigley and Mottram Hall which are all within 5 to 10 minutes respectively from us by car or Taxi. The Macclesfield Canal Towpath or the Middlewood Way lead you to the Windmill inn and shortly after you will arrive in Bollington (a town created from the industrialisaton of the "Happy Valley" from 1750, centered around 2 corn, mills still standing today. Here you will find cosy resteraunts and the Waterside Café , a perfect stop or turning point on your walk. A short diversion from the Middlewood way will take you to the Anson Engine Museum winning the "Visitors Choice" award (voted for by the public) when they were asked "where would you take a visitor to the Macclesfield area". Bramhall Hall and AVRO heritage museum are also within easy striking distance.
