Upon arrival i was greeted by a very welcoming helpful and friendly host,the checking in process was also swift and hassle free.The property was exceptionally clean throughout,tea and coffee making facilities and also a microwave and fridge provided in a small but adequate kitchen area,the room itself was quite spacious and comfortable with a wall mounted TV.The Property is approx 10 minutes walk from St James Park Definitely would stay here next time I travel to Newcastle

The Brighton is a long-established guest house within the heart of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Just 1-mile from the city centre, The Brighton offers easy access to a variety of restaurants, bars and nightlife. Each cosy, individually decorated room is well maintained and includes a TV with either shared or en suite facilities. The cities oldest structure, the Newcastle Castle is just 7 minutes' drive away. For football fans, St James' Park is a short 5-minute journey in the car, with the main shopping hub, Eldon Square Shopping Centre a further 2 minutes' drive away. Please note, we no longer provide complementary tea and coffee with the "standard room types" this is only provided in our apartments or rooms that state "Kitchenette".
