As you enter Tubs Cottage you are instantly greeted with its cottage-like charm. Refurbished in 2022, First floor bedrooms both have a double bed and a good size with clothes storage. (The stairs are steep and may be problematic to guests with mobility issues) Up a second flight of stairs to a loft room (guests are advised that there is a fixed rope handrail and a restricted head height due to the pitch of the roof). A modern bathroom is on the ground floor, alongside a well appointed kitchen. The small front garden/patio with garden furniture and parasol is perfect for watching the world go by on summer nights.

Kingsteignton is a small Saxon village, situated near Newton Abbott. Torquay is a 15 minute drive, Exeter 20 minutes. The nearby beaches of Shaldon and Teignmouth are literally less than ten minutes away., Tubs Cottage was built in 1450, and hadn't considered car parking! However street parking is available near the church, or along Crossley Moor Road, a few minutes walk away.
