The house is located in a zone called "'u puzziddu" which is famous for having been in the past the area for local fishermen of the town. Indeed, even if it was completely restructured inside, the house still keeps the Sicilian charme of the original houses of fishermen. Moreover, it is so close to the main course of the town, and you can easily reach all the shops you need by walk!
Hi! My name is Paola and I love to meet new people from different countries! That's why I like to cowork with my family and to have guests in our house in Castellammare! And...about me: I love sailing, I love travelling, I love Sicily and its great beauty. Every year is a good time to rediscover the deep beauty of my country, and I would love to share with you some nice experiences (like a trip by sail boat, a trip with local fishermen to pick up nets, a walking along the vineyards of our country, and so on!) :)
Castellammare del Golfo is located in a strategic position in the western part of Sicily, it will allow you to reach easily some of the best beaches we have, like SCOPELLO, RISERVA NATURALE DELLO ZINGARO and SAN VITO LO CAPO. Also from Trapani you can get the ferry and go isole Egadi (FAVIGLIANA, LEVANZO and MARETTIMO). My favourite place is for sure CALA BIANCA, that is a short stones beach unknown by the most! I use to go there by sail boat or even by walk (walking in wild roads where you can see the Sicilian flora-MACCHIA MEDITERRANEA). Then, for people who love art, don't miss PALERMO, MONREALE, SEGESTA, ERICE, ALCAMO!
