The CASA VACANZE DAL PICCIOTTO is located in the city of Marsala on which there are two large geographically opposite sea coasts. Just 2 km away we find the Stagnone reserve, a paradise for Kite Surfing where you will find many schools and where you can admire the suggestive sunsets over the salt mills. The house also has outdoor spaces for equipment. At 5 km from the house you can enjoy wonderful beaches with crystal clear and uncontaminated sea. The city offers the opportunity to visit the island of Mothia, the mosaics of the Roman Insula, the Baglio Anselmi museum with the only specimen of the Punic Ship, the Museum of Fiammanghi tapestries, the Garibaldi Museum and more. Of great interest are the visits to the Florio, Pellegrino, Fina, Donna Fugata wineries and others that offer food and wine tours. In the evening you can enjoy the coolness on the veranda, prepare a good barbecue or stroll downtown among Bistrot pubs with live music and restaurants. The house enjoys a strategic position because it is 28 km from Trapani, 37 km from the medieval village of Erice, 30 minutes by boat to Favignana and about 1 hour from the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, 30 minutes from Segesta.
Cooking is a great passion, using the exceptional products of our territory I try to keep the culinary tradition alive, I created a traditional wood oven in which I bake the bread made with regrind flour with mother yeast created by me. What about fantastic.
In the surroundings you will find the salt pans of Marsala with its enchanting sunsets, the island of Mothia which can be reached by canoe or pedal boat, the Punic ship located in the Baglio Anselmi Archaeological Museum. Just 4 from the house you will find the port of Marsala where you can reach the Egadi islands of Favignana, Marettimo and Levanzo in 30 minutes by boat. Marsala excellent starting point for visiting the archaeological sites of Selinunte, Segesta, the Valley of the Temples of Agrigento.
