La Casetta di San Giovanni is a unique and particular place. Laura with her availability and hospitality makes everything special. The house is warm, welcoming, decorated for Christmas, full of details, ancient things and a collection of books available. The rich breakfast allows you to wake up and feel at home. The presence of the terrace and the garden is a flagship for Rome. It's super central, with the metro just a stone's throw away and the station that takes you to Fiumicino a five-minute walk away. There is a fruit and vegetable market under the house, and several supermarkets (also open 24 hours a day) full of bars and restaurants in the area. Via Appia for shopping and the Basilica of San Giovanni, all within 10 minutes on foot. If you like walking, you can get to the Colosseum in 25 minutes. In short, a place I will definitely return to every time I am in Rome.

I had a beautiful experience at Laura's house! The atmosphere is very warm and cosy, the house is super furnished and I had everything I needed to feel like home. The style is the best feature of this house, it has a nice little garden an incredible rooftop and is so well connected with the metro few minutes away. I had the best time in Rome and is also because I found this hidden gem! Highly recommended

The best feature about my stay here, was definitly our host Laura and the location of the b&b. Laura was verry helpful with tips and information and easily reachable! 35 minute walk from the centrum but bus and train was close by. As was mini markets, a pharmacy and great restaurants! The accomodations was also good. A quiet area and the other residents of the building did not make a lot of noise or disturbances. A market near by with fresh fruit and vegetables and reused cheap clothing as well!

The apartment was perfect - artistically decorated, with large bedroom with breakfast table, kitchen and bathroom. Also, access to terrace which catches the sun and the cool evening breezes.All this just 4 metro stops from Roma Termini. Laura was the perfect host, so friendly and attentive, she takes a real interest in her guests. She even made a fuss of me on my birthday!! I will definitely stay here again - as long as Laura has a vacancy. As her reputation is clearly growing so quickly you need to book well ahead! Thank you again Laura for making my stay in Rome so memorable!

La struttura ci è piaciuta molto, ha una buona posizione vicino alla metro e con molti servizi vicini. È ben attrezzata per quanto riguarda la cucina, il letto molto comodo e l’ambiente è molto accogliente. L'estrema pulizia e cura dell'appartamento dotato di ogni accessorio necessario per un soggiorno deguato. La disponibilita' e professionalita' della padrona di casa sempre attenta e con una propensione naturale per il customer care. Nella Casetta di San Giovanni ho respirato un atmosfera di altri tempi, l’arredamento vintage unito alle decorazioni natalizie hanno reso il mio soggiorno indimenticabile. La padrona di casa con la sua accoglienza, disponibilità e gentilezza mi ha fatto sentire subito a mio agio, a casa. La posizione è strategica, metropolitana e stazione a due passi, locali, supermercati, mercato ortofrutticolo, tutto praticamente sotto casa. Anche essendo cosi centrale si gode di estrema tranquillità. Ah dimenticavo la terrazza, bellissima! La raccomando a tutte le persone che cercano un esperienza autentica.
