We offer for rent atmospheric, independent rooms with bathrooms and a shared kitchen in an apartment located in the historic center of the port city of Livorno. The apartment is located on the third floor (no elevator), close to the main shopping street, Mercato Centrale and Teatro Goldoni, seven minutes by car from the ferry. Close to the beach, parks and the train station. On the ground floor of the tenement house, there is a coffee bar, wine shop, tabaccheria, and around the corner, the Melafumo restaurant famous for its delicious food and relaxed atmosphere. Public parking. The apartment is located 200m from the bus stop, 1.8 km from the train station, 20km from the Pisa airport. Walks are a pleasure here, and the main water canal marks the way home. Moving along it, we will reach either the New Fortress and the Venezia district, or the seaside promenade and beaches. Along the way, many attractions await us: from countless bars and ice cream parlors, carousels and attractions for children, to the water Aquarium, or beautiful marinas filled with yachts.
We are usually at your disposal throughout your stay. We will suggest what to visit and what to admire, we will tell you where to go and sail, and if necessary, we will organize your arrival from / to the airport or the beach.
In the summer season, XX Settembre Square often hosts free events and concerts, and the baristas on the ground floor serve strong and aromatic coffee. Literally around the corner is Melafumo Restaurant, famous for its great food, filled with red flags and images of Che Guevarra, (watch out for drinks! There is no soft game;). Although there is an abundance of pizzeria on every street, we recommend going to Pizza e Torta Da Giova near the market hall, the king of good humor, delicious pizza and wonderful fritto mare (10e portion with wine 1 / 4l). The neighboring place is delicious drinks and snacks served on old barrels. In the area you can find numerous boutiques with original Italian clothes and hand-sewn shoes. A 20-minute walk towards the sea will take you to the charming Borgo dei Cappucini, a 19th-century port district filled with pubs, restaurants and bars. And for those who are tired, we recommend numerous parks, e.g. the one in Fortezza. You have to enter it through a special tunnel!
