Palazzo Santa Maria is a building of the seventeenth century. overlooking the homonymous main square of the historic center of Camerota. The Palace is home to the Meeting del Mare C.R.E.A.Foundation, promoter of the renowned cultural and musical event "Meeting del Mare" and other numerous initiatives of art and culture, and houses the MU.T.R.A.C., Museum of terracotta and ancient riggiola campana. These components give the opportunity to live a living and tangible contact with art heritage and tradition, in an atmosphere of great charm and interaction with artists and creatives from all over the world.

Camerota, where stands Palazzo Santa Maria, is considered "Country of music and terracotta" because of these two great traditions that accompany the popular history and men of this land. Here, in Palazzo Santa Maria, stands in the halls of the building a fantastic museum dedicated to terracotta: on display amphorae, jars of different eras, living evidence of the history of this territory, accompanied by a precious collection of ancient rulers of Neapolitan and Vietri tradition. A few steps away, stands on Camerota the Medieval Castle, of Norman workmanship with grafts of the Aragonese period, open only externally. 5 km from Camerota you can reach the Marina, where you can relax on one of the many tourist beaches (the most popular are: Lentiscelle - Calanca - Marina delle Barche - Mingardo) or enjoy a boat excursion to reach Porto Infresci, Baia del Pozzallo or Cala Bianca, the most beautiful beach in Italy in 2013 according to Legambiente.
