The very well kept property is located in the best area of Stresa, in a short walking distance from the railway station and the lake. The view is phantastic and offers a glimpse of paradise. A lovely park to which a colorful collection of Mediterranean plants and majestic trees add grace and invite serene tranquility. Fabio and Christina are very attentive hosts, with a great sense of service and a strong desire to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We had a beautiful stay with Fabio and Cristina. The facilities are outstanding. Fabio and Cristina are so kind, they like their city and want to share the places to go and where to eat. 5’ to the lake for a beautiful walk. Amazing (!) view from the shared living room, everything like on the pictures in booking. Was looking forward everyday to get up to see the lake. The living room has also a fireplace which is very nice to sit in front in the evening. Also there are board games like monopoly or cards. There are two kitchens we could use which had everything we need, dish washer, toaster, tools, oil, vinegar, free tea bags with kettle and free coffee for the espresso machine. Everything is tidy, nice and neat. The bathroom for our room was in a different room next to our bed room (noone else can use) which makes it easy to use at night and not wake the other person up with the light in the bathroom. The owners are very kind and hearty. Has lots of recommendations and helps with booking restaurants when you don't speak Italian. We will recommend this place to others.

The place is fabulous, with a wonderful view of Lake Maggiori. Fábio and his wife made us feel at home and as if we were with old friends. The kitchen is very well equipped, there is a barbecue and dry sauna and hammam. the rooms are comfortable and spacious. We hope to return soon!

After four months of travelling throughout Italy, we were looking for a place to stay for a month and relax. Un sogno sul Lago was perfect. There was nothing you could fault about the place. Everything is in excellent condition. Cristina and Fabio are fantastic hosts. From special treats being baked to offering to take and pick you up from either the station or local restaurants. Love the location and could never get enough of the views. Wouldn't hesitate in coming back. The best B and B we have stayed in.
