This was one of the most nicely designed places we’ve stayed in during our Japan trip. The rooms are beautifully set out, nicely decorated and extremely spacious. The hotel provides nice breakfasts every morning, they have onsite onsens, free laundry services and gondola shuttle services. The staff were all very lovely, and all spoke exceptional English. In terms of facilities and additional services, Yasushi goes above and beyond.

Team is too young and some (most of the) time forgets they are there to serve, help, clean, ask if everything is good. \ Louise was the exception who did a very good job to make sure we were enjoying our stay and to keep everything tidy. Extra points for the kitchen team! Room was cleaned under demand / our stay was from Monday to Saturday - you could do better.

The place to stay in Nozawa. The staff are so helpful and the hotel is lovely. Rooms are massive and the breakfast is delicious. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they are knowledgeable with all the tips and tricks. All English speaking and a younger demographic. Was a delight to stay and I will be back for sure.

Super if not most friendly staff. Room size was considerably big, however due to the odd layout, not much functional space for packing, when I have to open up the luggage. Have private onsen which you can book at the lobby. Provided ski passes at a slightly discounted rate too. Location is a little farther than other hotel, to the ski area. But the extra walk is not significant as the whole town is pretty small.

It's an exceptional stay! Room is very large, almost like a suite, well lit and well appointed room. Separated bathroom and toilet is very convenient. Loundry just outside is super convenient. Breakfast is well prepared and reserved so never need to worry about seating. Most impressive is the Onsen is also private by booking! Staff is super super friendly and helpful. Helped us with late check in, accommodated needs with children, arranged luggages to be sent to Chuo Terminal on checkout. The most helpful is to help us located a lost iPhone at bus terminal and arranged taxi to deliver it to station where we almost left. Thanks soo much for your help! Appreciated it!!

This was our most enjoyable stay in Japan, and the competition was high. Location was good, the staff were very helpful and welcoming, the property was immaculate, and the facilities were impressive. The room was incredible and super cozy and we loved retiring there at the end of the day. We also thoroughly enjoyed the onsen which I understand is one of the few in a Nozawaonsen Ryokan filled with naturally heated mineral water. We highly recommend and will be returning, hopefully.
