The friendly staff and homely atmosphere, location is lovely and relaxing. Food was good but maybe a bit more variety (especially with desserts - ice creams would be nice)

Set right infront a spectacular,uncrowded stretch of beach. The reception lady,Stacey,was helpfull and charming. Matress and pillows were comfortable. Wifi was speedy. Breakfast was OK. The clean pool was an extra bonus during the morning low tide.

We enjoyed a short getaway at Sawa Sawa and had a really relaxing stay. The location right on the beach is lovely and we enjoyed just chilling on the sunbeds. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfy and there was even warm water from the shower which I hadn't enjoyed in weeks while in Kenya, so that was a treat. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant, food was fresh and tasty enough, even if a bit overpriced. Dinner by the sea was a lovely idea, ask the staff for that. The staff, especially the manager Stacey, were really nice. I forgot to take out enough cash for the payment and on the day of check-out, the nearest ATM did not work. We managed to sort out the payment with the manager, and I really appreciated the problem-solving and helpful attitude at a stressful time. Everyone we met were friendly and polite, it's clear that the hiring has been done really well. Both of us felt really welcome here and would stay again.

It's a corner of style and elegance right on the ocean and in the middle of nowhere, nature and peace - but in 10 minutes by foot you reach the centre of msambweni. every corner is decorated with african artifacts, every host can find his private angolino direct on the sea or at the side of the pool, or in the shadow on sofas choosing between books at our disposal, or games to play in group or lying on hammocks under palm trees at 2 steps from the ocean. Breakfast is very good and plentyful and in the menù you can choose even vegetarian - excellent food, dry white wine, cocktails; you can even ask particular dishes in advance. Miss Stacey, the manager, sweet and kind and easy and friendly at same time, like the staff, precise and careful but never "pressing". When there is low tyde you can swim in the swimming pool kept perfect clean more times in a day. For me 100 per cent positive experience!
