I recently stayed at this basic yet charming accommodation for one night, and it exceeded my expectations. The staff was exceptionally friendly and kind, creating a warm atmosphere. The food provided was not only super delicious but also abundant. The highlight of our stay was the cottage manager's gesture in showing us a hidden gem – a stunning waterfall and natural pool right around the corner. This secluded spot in the heart of nature felt like a private paradise. Surrounded by lush greenery, numerous trees, and captivating birds, the accommodation offers a serene escape. I only wish our visit could have been longer to fully savor the tranquility and beauty of this remarkable location.

The Lodge has three bedrooms and two common bathrooms, open living area with a small pantry. Galapitiyaya Estate is a 48 acre property surrounded by a lake from one side and a stream from another side and the forest reserve. Beautiful Narangolla river flows on the north side boundary of the estate creating three breathtaking waterfalls which we have private access from the property. The Lodge is surrounded by mountains, Tea gardens and the wilderness. The estate main waterfall is just 3 minuets walk from the Lodge. This is truly a nature lovers paradise.
I'm a businessman and a planter, in the fields of tea, coconut, pepper, cinnamon and gems. I love wildlife, camping, Hiking and photography.
