You can simply unwind and relax doing nothing all day or if you have a feel for adventure, Here’s what you can do: Help bring the catch in – take a quick turn on the beach when the catch comes in and be a part of that unique feel of being a fisherman for a few minutes, helping them haul the catch in. The forgotten ruins of Nelugala – Just a little over an hour away, spread over more than 350 acres in Eraurpattu in the Batticaloa district are the Nelugala Buddhist ruins, encompassing rock caves, inscriptions, ponds, monuments and a unique stupa dating to the 2nd century BC.
