Where do I even start! Mama yati is one of the kindest people I have come across in my life, she just radiants love and kindness. Her hospitality is unmatched. The rooms are fantastic, extremely comfortable beds, and clean rooms. The county lodge is about 5 minutes from the beach which is fantastic and it’s nice and peaceful and quite to sleep. They also offer scooter hire and organise any tours you’d like to do. Country lodge with Mama Yati and Papa Mas is a one stop shop. They also have the kindest staff. I would strongly recommend to anyone who’s going to Langkawi looking for an authentic and family feel stay.

The staff were really friendly and accomodating. They really treated me like a family. Starting off with the free airport transfer they offered me. Papa Mas and Liza were so great. They offered me free food and also Liz made me a Souvenir to remember them by. I would definitely meet them again on my next visit. And I highly recommend it to other travellers too.

Super friendly, relaxed and hospitable hosts, will go out of their way day and night for you! They offered local advice, cooked dinner for us, gave fresh fruit and tea and airport pick up and drop off. They made our stay unforgettable! The lodge was close to the beach and plenty of restaurants nearby. Renting a scooter at the lodge was really easy. The room had everything you need for a great price

The room in the Lodge was clean and comfortable, air conditioning great, but what I loved about the place was the friendliness and helpfulness of Mama and Papa. I have never stayed in a place where I felt so welcome. Papa helped me fix my phone and Mama took me to the airport, for no charge. I also really liked the communal area where you can talk to others if you wish (I was travelling on my own) and the fact I could refill my water bottle without having to buy more plastic. They are making efforts to be more sustainable. A very special place and if I return to Langkawi I would absolutely stay here again.

Exceptional! The owner came to pick me up from the airport and immediately gave me a good and warm feeling of coming home. She placed me in on of the chalets, build by her husband, and wow, this is a perfect place! The view from the chalet is amazing and very calming. I looked at the sunset and enjoyed my morning coffee on the patio. The bed was better than I have at home. i only had one night here, but i extended my stay because it is truly amazing!
