The staff were amazingly helpful, sorting out minor problems with very little delay. We had a problem in that there was no hot water in our room on our arrival. Our host, Francesco, came around within 20 minutes and sorted out the issue and apologised; he even gave us a bottle of wine for our trouble! When it was time for us to leave our accommodation, Francesco gave us detailed guidance on how to get to the airport, he let us store our luggage in a room for the day and he even printed off our boarding passes, which hadn't been available beforehand. He truly was a host with the most and we'd definitely recommend a stay! Thank you :-)

Not far from the center of Funchal. Bed and shower are good. A fridge and a kettle in the room is a big advantage. Close to the bus stations and big supermarket. A lot of cafes and restaurants nearby. Good wifi connection. Easy self check-in. Good price/quality ratio.

Its very close to the city centre. Room was clean, comfortable and had enough space. There was no problem with collecting the keys, the instructions were clear.

We arrived with the late ferry boat from Porto Santo to check out early the following morning. Very pleased and convenient to find a bottle of complimentary water in the room as well as fruits and a kettle with coffee/tea for the morning. Location walking distance to the old city and the harbour. Communication and self check in instructions prompt and clear. Also delighted to have met the owner on the way out, what a great character. We liked that there is a self check in very easy to do and usefull. The location is very near the city center, bus stations, you have markets and restaurants nearby, even if its on a steep slope road. In the accomodation you have great facilities, the isolation its preety good, even if its close to the street, we had a preety deep sleep. Its a good quality-price ratio.
