What I liked most was that, unlike noisy Nungwi, the accommodation was always so relaxing and quiet. The hotel manager was a great guy with whom we could agree on everything, so we organized trips around Zanzibar through them and everything was perfectly organized. Also, the food in the restaurant is excellent and not expensive. Every morning we had breakfast on the terrace of the bungalow and that was the most beautiful part of my stay, along with a chill evening with a cocktail on the deckchairs around the pool.

This place is amazing, especially if you love privacy. The manager Phil is a really nice guy, always helpful with everything, I could say "the guy who solves your problems, while you are on vacation and enjoying the stay. Stuff are good, I would like to say thanks to one barman Juma. The bungalow is very cozy, and breakfast is served on the terrace. The ocean is a five minute walk. The best beach in the area! Loved the bungalows set around the pool. Breakfast took place on your own terrace which was nice and convenient. Ate in their restaurant area one evening too. Food and drink both great. Had the Cuba Libre on the recommendation of another review and it was fab. Staff friendly and new manager Phil very helpful. Accommodation very clean. Had a safe and hairdryer. Better than I expected 👍 Set in a road back from the gorgeous beach but that was fine for this part of the trip.

The owner and staff are really nice, from the people working at the restaurant to the person guarding the place after dark. They were very responsive to our requests. The rooms are spacious, and clean and they come everyday to clean. The breakfast was delicious and although some may say it doesn't have plenty of options, we did not need anything more. We loved the chapati wraps and the pancakes. We also ate at the Mizizi restaurant, and the food was just great. Also, the location overall offers a nice authentic view.

Everything was just super: breakfast outside, staff, Michael the manager, swimming pool, the whole enviroment. It was about 200m from the beach. We used to go through a narrow street with local Masai-owned souvenir shops. The AC did not work one night but was fixed very quickly. The fridge did not work but that was not a problem.

This is a lovely small resort, very close to the beach. Staff is extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast is served on your own terrace and it is very tasty. The food from the restaurant is also good and the option to stay at the resort without having to leave for food is great. The beds are the most comfortable ones we had during our stay on Zanzibar. Most beds on the island were small and hard, but these beds are big and softer. If you like Cuba Libres ask Juma to make you one, as he makes them extremely tasty with a very big smile. The best Cuba Libres we had in a while. Near the Z hotel you can rent beach chairs for the day at around 40k Shilling per day for two.
