Zanzistar was such a great discovery! The staff is the kindest we met in Zanzibar, they are professional and lovely and we loved our time there. The location is perfect, two steps to the beach and the surrounding was our favorite part of Jambiani! The room was beautiful, clean and nicely decorated, and the same we can say about the common area. We loved the banana garden. We had a night movie while having dinner. The food is delicious and so are the cocktails!! Overall one of the best time of my entire trip! Do I recommend it?!!! 100%!

Not just an accomondation. Super friendly and helpful manager and staff in an almost family environment make this place special. We were comfortable, enjoyed our time a lot and even stayed a day longer than planned. Food and drinks in the lodge own restaurant are amazing.

Best place we have stayed in Zanzibar! This place looks exactly as in pictures or even better! This was the last place we have stayed in Zanzibar and when we have arrived it was hot, we were tired and my partner was not sure about the place until he saw the Zanzistar beach place! And honesty I think you fall in love with the place when it gets dark. It's so cosy with little details and lights! Restaurant in the banana garden is out of space! We have also loved our bungalow! It was spacious and always clean! Also big shout out to Simon, George and Esma ( I am not sure if the name is correct but the lady that works with the guys) they are fantastic! Very friendly, chatty and a great company! Also Peter is the the actual star of the hotel! We have felt very welcome! It was sad to leave the place! Would come back any day no doubt! <3

Excellent choice - Loved the relaxed atmosphere and beachie vibe. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Food in the restaurant is delicious and they have the quirkiest of fun nights. The pool and beach bar are just the right amount of relax and social.

The property itself is exactly as shown in the pictures. Such a nice, clean and comfortable vibe. It had two parts, the restaurant which was on the beach but then you can also hide away into your rooms which is only like a 2 min walk away.

Everything was perfect, Peter and Elie who run the hotel are adorable and the staff was so nice. The room was perfect, 30 sec away from the beach. The food was really good, at the restaurant and the beach bar. We felt at home. Great location, really peaceful. The pool is great when the tide is low. Great restaurants around the hotel as well. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much.
