Absolutely beautiful and tranquil. We loved it. Very Cosy and comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We even got cupcakes on arrival which my son loved. Really a hidden gem in the midlands.

This spacious split-level cottage is fully equipped with two small en suite bedrooms, a patio and pet-friendly private garden. Basic daily cleaning is provided. Offering sweeping views of surrounding dams and the KZN Midlands countryside, only a 15 minute drive from the village of Nottingham Road - the heart of the Midlands Meander. Hilltop Farm is situated 7km from Rosetta on the Kamberg Road leading to the renowned outdoor activity destinations of Highmoor, Kamberg Nature Reserve and Giant's Castle.
Guests will be afforded full privacy during their stay, however the owners, Brad and Denise Cartwright, will be on hand to offer advice on local places of interest to visit, dine, fish, golf, hike, etc. The domestic staff will be available each morning to make beds, wash dishes and general clean up. The kitchen has a small gas oven and stove, fridge, micro and is well supplied with all crockery, cutlery and cookware. Towels are supplied. The patio has a small braai and weber. Should guests require Premium DSTV bouquet to be activated, they should request same before arrival at a cost of R40 per day. Guests provide their own food, drinks, and firewood/charcoal. The Hilltop property is situated 7km from Rosetta on the Kamberg rd - famous for hikes, mountains, rivers and fishing - and only 13km from the village of Nottingham Rd, the Midlands Meander hub with lots of shops, restaurants and a wonderful Farmers Market only on Saturday mornings. What makes Hilltop a unique destination is that it offers space, privacy, views and a farm feel, whilst also offering excellent security. In essence, it is a rural gated community, on a small rural small holding. Hilltop Farm is close to the Drakensberg Mountains and to Nottingham Road village and thus offers everything the KZN Midlands is known for.
