Molweni Kamberg Valley Bed & Breakfast is situated in the Kamberg with beautiful views of the Kamberg and Giants Castle mountains. It is perfectly situated to explore the southern part of/and the Central Drakensberg. Nestled in the heart of the Kamberg Valley, the property was built in the late 19th century as a trading hub for residents of the Kamberg Valley. Molweni Bed & Breakfast is set in beautiful gardens, providing a safe, private getaway, while its central location provides attractions in all directions. Accommodation comprises of 4 beautiful rooms all en suite. All three bedrooms have a super view of Giants Castle. Queen or single beds are available and linen, towels, heaters and electric blankets are provided. The lounge has a TV with USB access and a fire place. The surrounding farmlands, beautiful large trees and views of the mountains help to create a very tranquil and peaceful environment at the B & B. A full hearty English breakfast is provided with freshly baked mini homemade breads. By prior arrangement, vegetarian and vegan breakfasts can be provided. Lunches and dinners can be enjoyed at local coffee shops and restaurants.
To us, every person who visits Molweni are part of our story, as we navigate this exciting chapter in our lives. Taking all our lived experience in service, now is the opportunity for us to cater in the place we call home. Far away from city lights, a stones throw away from a number of site-seeing adventures, we hope to elevate the Valley in all its beauty. We have a passion for nature, so we hope to bring nature in to our space, as we look to landscape our gardens to enrich your stay. The B&B is situated on the same site as the Kamberg Valley Store which was built in 1890. Kamberg Valley Store will soon be reopening, along with it's mini fuel station, supplying 95 unleaded petrol and 50ppm diesel.
Available in the area are: Nature Reserves: Kamberg Rock Art Centre (14kms away) offers daily walks to view superb rock art. Highmoor Nature Reserve (13kms away) for beautiful views of Giants Castle and Roman Baths. Museum: Fort Nottingham (45kms away) Fishing: Highmoor (13kms away) Golf: Glengarry (5kms away) Offroad Cycle Track - Glengarry (5kms away) Horse riding: Qambathi - Booking essential (8kms away) Restaurants: Cleopatra’s or Silver Hills Lodge: Reservations by 3pm essential. (7-10kms away) Nottingham Road and Rosetta also offer a range of eateries. (±35kms away)
