Self catering cottages in the beautiful Cape Winelands of South Afica. Surrounded by majestic mountains stretched with vineyards across the slopes. A perfect hideaway for a couple who likes to tour on their own terms. Simondium is ideally central with a 20 minute drive to Franschhoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch. Cape Town International Airport are also only a 40 minute drive. We aim to provide our guests with a "home away from home" experience and as such we have equipped the cottages with everything we hope you will need during you stay with us. Come enjoy the spectacular beauty, superb Cape wines and world class restaurants.
Named after a Huguenot minister, Pierre Simond (1651), Simondium is a hamlet set snugly between Paarl and Franschhoek, at the pulse of the Cape Winelands. The town has earned a reputation for cheese-making, wine and some exceptional restaurants. Simonsberg-Paarl is a ward of the Paarl of Origin appellation and the wineries in this area are renowned for award-winning, quality wines. Some wine farms and estates offer family activities, restaurants and function venues. Surrounded by an abundance of natural scenic beauty, it is the ideal destination for nature-lovers and photographers. The surrounding mountains offer several scenic walking, hiking and cycling trails. ​ There is much to see and do in and around the town, including nature reserves, walking and hiking, horse-riding and adventure activities.
