The accommodation was in a good location right next to the train station for transport to arrive into Hakone and to get buses to Lake Ashi/Mt Kintoki area, for restaurants an shops. The beds were mats on the floor and were very comfortable. We used the onsen during our stay which was a lovely experience. We recommend a stay here. The staff were very helpful and kind.

Lobby area is mind blowing overlooking the river. Very close to all the restaurants around. Please ensure you pre book in case looking for a Japanese style dinner even in the area. The Innkeeper advised us to view Mt Fuji that day as the following day would be rainy and cloudy. Good thing we followed as he suggested. Bus stop to Lake ashi was just nearby. We had a comfortable stay here.

The onsen is such a nice way to relax after a busy day exploring beautiful Hakone. The innkeeper’s suggestions and directions were super helpful, and he checked in on us every day to make sure we had everything we needed. The traditional tatami rooms are such a special experience, and the inn is super clean. The location is excellent too. I highly recommend staying here :-)

Breakfast was good and dinner was a bonus, with beautiful home cooked food. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. When staying at the Guest House you also have access to the onsen at another facility ~1km away.
