A must see! I can't list everything in the complex. Olympic Tower, BMW complex, Disney for young children. Variety of sports parks. 15 minute walk from the "U". Underground train. The "S" is the surface train. Bus stops are in the same area. It's 3,7 euros for a one time ride. Approximately $4.00 U.S. dollars. Only euros!!!!!. I read that it's not a good idea to exchange money. ATMs are the same, just remember that it costs more money from your account if you use debit accounts.AAnonymousUnited States - 10Scored 10

Best swimming pool I found in Munich. There are 3 pools, 1 for pro swimmer training / competition, 1 for casual lap-swimmer, 1 for kids and learners. Plenty of lockers, reasonably priced cafe. Everything is very well organized. Nice sauna next to it. Indoor/outdoor sauna rooms and pools, chairs to relax and get some sunshine. Can easily spend a day there.

It’s fun to visit the Olympiapark as one can move around the area, especially if families with young kids would like to get amused... the tall observation tower is a must in Munich as one can see the entire city from the high observation desk.. the park is not too far away from the main city Center, one can reach by taxi or a nearby metro as well...

Overall very good, but I visited on two separate days (10 days apart) to see the Olympic Stadium and it was closed on both occasions. This was disappointing. But the Olympic Tower is well worth a visit - especially on a sunny, clear day!

Simply gorgeous and worth seeing.
Simply gorgeous and worth seeing. Don't bother to pay 20 bucks to take an elevator ride - just climb the hill in the middle of the park. It's about 2/3 as high as the tower and free with arguably as good a view of the surrounding countryside....plus you get a great workout!
