Situated in London and with Camden Market reachable within 1.4 km, The Hurdwick features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, air-conditioning, a garden, free WiFi and a bar. Great location, convenience with tube station, cafes, restaurants nearby.
Camden Enterprise Hotel is located in a Victorian building dating back to 1865 in the Camden district in London, next to Chalk Farm underground station and a 10-minute walk from Camden Market and... I appreciated the availability of sockets with USB ports by the bed.
Less than 2 minutes’ walk from Regents Park and the lively Camden, Gordon Ramsay’s York & Albany includes a library, bar and restaurant. We liked everything! The staff were all so friendly professional and helpful, the food was very good...
Student Hotels Kentish Town in London provides adults-only accommodation with a restaurant, a fitness centre and a shared lounge.
Definitely my fave place in London (Portobello Road is also one of my fave). The mood, the market, the shops, the Camden Canal makes it a little Venice, well everything is wonderful to see over there.
A very Special place to go in Camden market is Clime-It Brothers. This is a store that sells wonderful garments and too, fulfils the purpose of aiding young people involved in crime and gangs. The founder Mubarak Mohamud helps them to find work, learning the skills needed to become future employees and to just start a new way of living - without crimes and drugs. We talked to Mubarak Mohamud about half an hour and we loves him, his work and the clothings!
Depends what you want. Mega touristy and very crowded, fun in the summertime, there is a lot of variety in the stalls especially at the Stables part further up. Would also suggest trying Portobello market which is buzzy but not as congested.
We visited by train and thought we had seen it all by lunchtime. Noting people drifting along a path under the rail bridge, we found to our astonishment that there was twice as much for us to see. This is a good full day's expedition and a huge variety of things to buy and eat.
This is a place for rip off artists so chain that wallet stow that purse and enjoy the smells sounds and sights of trendy london Or just people watch from one of the many street / market bars . Hippy dippy bo ho heaven not for squares trump voters or people with taste .👻🇬🇧👍🏽
A must-visit for tourists and outsiders to London. The vibe of Camden Market and its surrounding areas gives a much rawer feel to London's vibe and is irreplaceable by anything in the tourist-focused areas of central London. Don't miss going!
Get down to Camden market for a fantastic experience, great street food and ace shopping.
Camden market is worth a visit but allow lots of time
Go on the weekdays! I went to Camden Market on a Saturday (BIG mistake), so I went back again on a Wednesday and it was lovely. The only downside is that some sellers are more inclined to try and convince you to buy their wares since there aren't as many people.
