somewhat underwhelming. if you don't get the fast track option expect around a 30 min wait. views are surprisingly obstructed on the opposite side of the Thames - couldn't even see the gherkin! I did expect it to be far more spectacular than what it was.

What an amazing ride for seeing the whole of London and further a. Field. A great experience, it is a slow ride round in enclosed seating allowing one to take in the vast views and sights of all London and beyond. Well worth trip.

Lots of street food, super close to Borough Market, 10 mins walking distance to Southwark and London Bridge subway stations, great breakfast outside the hotel nearby. We skipped the hotel breakfast, and tried local places like The Table and Where the Pancakes Are. Also make sure to get some beer and enjoy the locals at Flat Iron Square near by. You can actually rent bikes from right across the street and ride to subway, or even some close by attractions like the London Eye or Buckingham Palace, etc.Mert HekimciTurkey

I bought tickets in advance because in 2014 they started charging to see the London Eye fireworks. I got there around 7PM with my friends and there were so many people getting in! Took me a while to get past the place they check your tickets but after you pass that you get plenty of time and space to settle. The fireworks were beautiful. To anyone planning to spend the NYE in London: bring food, water and get a good spot as soon as you can. You're probably only going to be able to leave the area around 1AM anyway. The subways stay open until late but they also get super crowded with people heading back home.

I would recommend the combination of attractions, and to book in advance. The London Eye was an amazing experience, the London Dungeons & Madame Tussaud's. The SeaLife Aquarium was good & we were able to casually walk around in there.
