So many shops were offering 50-70% off sales! With the Pound already at a discounted rate I'll bet tourists couldn't believe the high quality bargains! I noticed a few filling suitcases. Picked up some bargains myself from nearby Regent Street.
Selfridges a good shopping experience, with some great shops off Oxford street, but some are expensive in New Bond Street, so only visit them if you’re prepared to buy very good quality, luxury goods.
Tip: relax and enjoy the crowds! Enjoy the excellent window shopping, then head to Great Poland Street for the best fish and chips in town, at the Golden Union. Top shop for me is Liberty London. Carnaby Street is right off Oxford Street and is adorable.
Bring your best walking shoes,Stop for lunch or afternoon tea in marks and spencers , you will be happily surprised and then shop till you drop... try Primark for great priced items a british surprise gem.
Amazing apartment and host. The location is incredible. Sadly left a night early due to London going into tier 4. Can't wait to book again. We have stayed in so many places in and around London and this was the best by far. Everything you need for a night away or a long stay. Minutes walk from Oxford Street and lots available for delivery while restrictions are in place. We stayed with our children and the host provided high chair , travel cot , blankets...just everything. So so so clean... can't rate highly enough.
Location walking distance to tourist spots such as Cambridge Circus , Trafalgal Square , Oxford street , British museum, Baker Street . 1 minutes to underground station , 1 minutes to several bus stops . Cleanliness satisfied, room is spacious exceed our expectation , functional kitchen. Our Flight arrived at Heathrow at 06.00 am , while we were exhausted after long flight , surprisingly we were told our room are ready by 10.30 am , and allowed to check in earlier. Thank you.
I strongly recommend a location of the accommodation. It is very close to Victoria Coach Station, also Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Oxford Street, London Eye...all these frequently visited sights are quite close to the accommodation. The cleanliness of the room was fine.
Lovely apartment in an excellent location just off Oxford Street. Apartment was equipped with impressive and modern appliances and everything worked well. All the details within the apartment added a cosy feeling to it and were well thought out and planned
Room was pretty tidy and standard of cleanliness was high. It is ideally located for tourists and businesspersons because of its proximity to central London. Sadly, Tier 4 deprived the fun of going to nearby Oxford street and other tourist attractions.
It is in a central location, close to Oxford Street, tube station and in walking distance to major tourist sites. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Delicious free coffee and tea, as well as cutlery and a microwave.
Given a room with a view of Oxford Street which was nice. Very friendly Reception staff. In fact all staff we came into contact with were very nice. Breakfast very good. Would definitely use hotel again and recommend highly.
Great location just a couple of minutes walk from Oxford street, hotel was good but just a little bit dated , dirty grout in bathroom, fixtures loose , and balcony had cigarette buts on it , but for the money it was ok 👍
The Hotel is very clean and the staff as always are friendly and very professional. The hotel is very central to Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street. Room was clean and very comfortable.
The location was perfect - so close to Oxford Street and Bond Street. The apartment was very well maintained and very well equipped. It was exceptionally clean.
If you want to do some shopping, but want to avoid the crowds, you should stay away from Oxford Street and Portobelle Road on Saturdays. Take a trip to some of the boroughs outside the city's centre and discover the local atmosphere. Ask someone in a shop or the staff at your hotel, if you need a few suggestions for a good day out away from the crowds. I usually ask them where they go for a day out.
you have all kinds if shopping from all the big chain stores found on oxford street to the markets and vintage stalls in camden town, also carnaby street for a something a little bit different
Plan your trip and staying in details. Do a little research what are the busiest times/days. Skip using tube/buses unless you really have to. Avoid the busiest shopping/tourist areas (there is much more to London than Oxford Street and Trafalgar Square).
Close to major shopping areas like Covent Garden,Regent Street and Oxford Street
Shop anywhere except Oxford Street as there is a heaving mass of humanity.
You can find a lot of various useful things for every taste and purse all-over London and especially at the Oxford street of course
