Tower Bridge

Tower Bridge is one of the world’s most iconic bridges and an enduring symbol of London. Identifiable by its two towers, this enormous drawbridge took eight years to build and has been in continuous use since 1894. The main entrance of Tower Bridge Exhibition is located at the North West Tower, where visitors can learn more about its construction.

The Tower Bridge is a sight to behold, but tours are very expensive and not very well publicised. We'd heard a lot about catacombs, but couldn't find anyone who knew much about where to find them or whether there were any tours available.

This is always a marvel to look at and admire. I stayed at the Tower Bridge Hotel & got to see this every day of staying & even though I've been to London countless times, I still don't get bored of looking at it.

    Great!

Great! You can take the number 15 bus from Trafalgar Square and then walk the bridge and the plaza below. Lots of food and drink options on the plaza below Tower Bridge. We saw some live music there too.

Fab! So beautiful. Unfortunately we couldn't do the full experience as we were visiting as a last stop on the way home & had full backpacks with us. Of course all bags are checked through & only small bags are accepted so don't be taking much with you.

Now the Tower of London is a must to visit it is an iconic piece of brilliant engineering both from a sight seeing view, and it mechanical structure inside. Where a lift to the top allows you walk the top of the bridge, views are amazing as are 5he working mechanisms to operating the bridge to allow ships to pass down the famous London Thames.

When you get off the elevator ("lift") from the ticket...

When you get off the elevator ("lift") from the ticket office, you're in the east pedestrian bridge. All the Chinese tourists rush to have their picture taken sitting on the glass floor, one after the other. You can avoid this bottleneck by simply heading to the end of the pedestrian bridge and going to the west tower, which is generally underpopulated (and has a mirror over the glass floor to facilitate selfies).

We wanted to be the tower bridge side of London so for us location was idea. But if you want shopping on Oxford street then this is not the place. The room was quirky but due to the nature of the pod design for the bed and bathroom and all the electrics being attached to that not enough sockets in the room or near the mirrors. But we loved the quirky bits of the room and the breakfast was amazing

It's a good hotel in the centre of London City, very close to Tower Bridge. The breakfast is amazing, the rooms are big and comfortable. It's a bit of an old building so it's not very modern.

Not only did we get a good deal but we also got an upgrade. The room was really spacious and we had a view of the Tower Bridge. We did really take advantage of the facilities because it was just a short trip but the gym looked pretty good.
