That is a lot of steps!
That is a lot of steps! The view is spectacular- you can see everything of the city from up there! I was not sure why the line was so slow to get in the church, it was too extremely hot to be in the sun for 45 min-1 hour, so could not get inside. Every other church I went to never had this issue... Beautiful location and a quite the accomplishment to get to the top. Enjoy.

l of people and that spoils the attraction. However, worth a visit to say you have been there. Take a nearby visit to the Capucian Monks church to see the 'bones of the monks', incredible but weird and unusual.

An impressive structure but we found it disappointing because it was divided into 'sections' and we were unable to grasp its full width and length. Obviously touristy and crowded with too many pushy touts around.

I found that you cannot sit on the steps during the day.
I found that you cannot sit on the steps during the day. Police will blow a whistle and ask you to move along. however, you can sit on the steps in the evening time and enjoy conversation with friends or other visitors.

Beautiful views of Rome from on top! We suggest spending time at the Villa Borghese and Garden then walk to the Trinitá dei Monti church then walk DOWN the Spanish Steps, get a snack and refreshment at Antico Caffé Greco, then wander through upscale shopping on Via dei Condotti.

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who were always friendly and happy to help, great choices for breakfast which is served to your room. Fantastic valve for money! Hot tub in the room is amazing after a long day of exploring. As an added bonus, we were in Rome celebrating our engagement and the hotel kindly upgraded our room!

Even though we arrived after check-in time, it was easy to get into the hotel, we were given pictures of where everything was so that it would be as easy as possible for us. The room smelled good and the cleaning was top notch! Cesare was helpful and recommended us where to go to eat and walk around town. When we go to Rome again, Daphne is an obvious choice for us!
