Te Pa Tu was a great experience.

Te Pa Tu was a great experience. Obviously it's a touristy thing, but it felt honest, authentic, and educational/informative. The whole experience was also enjoyably interactive. You didn't have to participate in anything, so you could be a passive observer... But I was really impressed by the performers and how they invited active engagement by the guests/audience. Best of all, participating wasn't just fun, but it also really helped foster understanding the cultural connections. And the meal was great, too. It totally exceeded my expectations. Go.

Great experience to learn about Maori culture especially if you have no experience with the culture with great music entertainment and an enchanting forest it is definitely a good night. Just good luck with trying not to over eat with the food from the Hangi.

A BRILLIANT evening. So much fun from the moment we were picked up on the coach. Learnt all about the maori culture in a fun, informative and entertaining way and the food was great too. Thoroughly recommended.

My husband and I thought the whole presentation was going to be in a more authentic setting as it would have been years ago. Having said that, the show was nice and the dinner was excellent. I don't want to seem cheap, but for $150.00/per person, we couldn't believe they charged us for a glass of pop with the meal. They don't tell you that drinks are not included when they ask what you want to drink.
