Beautiful cabin in the jungle. Comfortable large bed and chairs. Full kitchen kitted out with all we needed. Great location near Lake Eacham. Two verandahs to sit on. Staff was very accommodating and put us in a cabin where they knew riflebirds were spotted frequently. We saw a Victoria's Riflebird male do a mating display! Wildlife EVERYWHERE.

We had a fantastic stay at Sharlynn by the River as a group of 3 friends. This property definitely exceeded our expectations. Thanks to John and Pam for being very accommodating, we really enjoyed the morning coffee and breakfast. The cabin is very comfortable and the decking around it is beautiful. Sadly, did not see any tree kangaroos, we loved out stay by the river. A great base to explore the Atherton tablelands and chill out.

Great place to stay! We were with kids and it was wonderfull. The staff are nice and helpful, the place is absolutely beautiful, very well maintained and feels like home. All is clean and tidy. The rooms are very good as well.

We loved how close it was to everything wholesome also being a great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet escape.

Lodges we’re bright and clean and well maintained. Very comfortable and lovely crisp linen on the beds. Room was very comfortable and clean, and surprisingly cool despite the outside heat even without A/C. Laura and her mum were very friendly and helpful, made sure we had a comfortable stay. No phone reception but reliable wifi. Location is perfect, close to the Crater Lakes and not far from towns, but still secluded. Excellent value for money. Would stay here again any day.
