Overlooking a beautiful river, Atha Safari Resort is a lodge that provides non-stop music with the melodious chirping of morning birds. If you can visit this place for at least 3-4 days vacation, you will be able to enjoy it to the fullest. Asanka, the owner of the hotel who arranged our safari as a guest, as well as Janaka, the jeep driver, gave us a wonderful experience.Thank you very much Asanka, who is friendly and very kind and made us enjoy delicious Sri Lankan food. It was possible to see large herds of elephants, crocodiles, deer, pigs, and many other animals. The safari was amazing..100%

Our room had everything we needed: a cozy bed, working AC, and a clean space to relax after traveling. The host even gave us cold drinks and face towels when we arrived. Plus, the peaceful surroundings allowed us to enjoy the soothing sounds of nature, with monkeys occasionally visible nearby.

This was the most amazing homestay we ever stayed at. The whole family just went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We could join in the kitchen to learn more about making traditional food and were even invited to the New Year celebration. The food was the best we had in Sri Lanka and the room was extremely comfortable. They also organized a great safari for us with a great guide at a very fair price. I cannot recommend this place enough!

A green and beautifully run guest house where we really like to stay. The owners were some of the kindest people we met and went out of their way to give us advice and a smile! The owners talk to us very well. Dinner was perfect, very romantic and delicious buffet. We also booked a safari through them which we love, it was just the two of us in the jeep and we saw more elephants with a knowledgeable driver ( sujee ) .Definitely getting old. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality

Best Safari guide ever, Nandu (guide and owner of the property) was very nice and calm. Drove us to a lunch place and took us back so we don't have to walk in the heat. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Owner showed us many different animals that we never seen before, very interesting experience. The dinner family made was delicious also.
