This was the most amazing homestay we ever stayed at. The whole family just went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We could join in the kitchen to learn more about making traditional food and were even invited to the New Year celebration. The food was the best we had in Sri Lanka and the room was extremely comfortable. They also organized a great safari for us with a great guide at a very fair price. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We hardly ever score 10 out of 10, but these owners were (it has been mentioned before) very lovely, attentive and great fun to talk to. And then we didn't even mention the great cooking they did and the chance we had to join them in the kitchen! We were unlucky to only have one night. Besides from this, the spacious room and facilities are in a great shape: good shower, good airco, nice beds, a great balcony with (yes, there is only place for one ... 😉) very comfy chair! And the location, in the middle of their own piece of jungle .. Just lovely! We forgot something when we left, but they immediately called and he even brought it with his motorcycle to the car we were in ... All the service. So very much recommended. They have only two rooms, so you are lucky if you can book here.

The Nature Glow Cottage was a perfect launching pad for my Udawalawe safari, which the Owner also organized for me upon my arrival. The staff were attention to my every need, while also ensuring to leave me with my own space. and the property grounds were a delight to walk around. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and it was great to having with real local food, all the food was make by the owner and his wife, Super delicious. The property and my experience was pretty perfect. Absolutely loved our night here - beautiful hotel and grounds - a real relaxing retreat! Such a shame that it was a quick 1 night stopover as would love to have spent more time here. Thanks a lot to Nalaka for the support in organizing our trip and the great safari! Super starting point to make a safari. The environment there is incredibly beautiful and relaxing and feels like being in the middle of paradise. The hosts were very eager to make our stay enjoyable. And the food… the food was so delicious!

Most memorable stay of all the places we have been in Sri Lanka. if you want to meet the kindest people, really experience local traditions than this is your place. Nalaka, Bodhinayaka and their two sons are amazing people. Who are modest, enjoy taking care of you and cook the best food ever! We stayed here for two days with our two toddlers and were invited to celebrate Sri Lankan new year in their home. They also showed us around the garden and learned us how to cut a coconut. The view from the house is beautiful. A comfortable place to come back to after a safari trip (which they arranged for us).

Diese Unterkunft ist ein wahrer Juwel in der Natur. Betrachtet man den Preis, sollte jedem klar sein, dass es keine Luxus-Unterkunft ist. Aber das ist auch gar nicht die Absicht der Gastgeber. Sie bestechen vielmehr mit Gastfreundschaft und Herz. Wenn Sie bereit sind, sich ein bisschen auf die Natur und auf eine rudimentärere Ausstattung einzulassen, buchen Sie auf jeden Fall diesen Homestay. Ich wünsche den beiden Gastgebern ganz viele Gäste und hoffe, dass viele den Weg dorthin finden! Die Zimmer sind übrigens sauber und die Safari, die man über die beiden buchen kann, ist wirklich super!

Ama sinekten böcek ten hayvanlardan korkuyorsanız sizin için pek uygun olmayabilir . İşletmeci aile özellikle yemek konusunda 5 yıldız hizmet vermekte tamamen ev yapımı yöresel bir yemeği çok uygun fiyattan sizlere sunuyor . Kahvaltı da aynı şekilde bu yemek hizmeti bile yeterli . Tekrar söylüyorum doğa ile barışık değilseniz sizin için tatmin edici olmaz . Ama mutlaka 1 gece gelip görmenizi tavsiye ederim . Gerçek srilankayı yerinde hissetmeliisiniz
