Located just 42 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela, Branca Gonçalves Belmonte provides accommodation in Belmonte with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Featuring a balcony, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking and skiing.

There was a refrigerator, small oven, microwave and one ring electric hob which enabled us to self cater easily. There was a supermarket within 10 minutes walk away which sold meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, beer, wine, etc . We arrived by bus from Guarda and it took about 30 minutes uphill to get to the house. Museums and Castle within walking distance so no need for a car. The house is small but everything is there for you to enjoy in a very peaceful and picturesque surroundings. The owners gave good and easy instructions regarding how to enter the property. Lovely little seating area in the back garden overlooking pleasant scenery. House in quiet part of Belmonte with no traffic noise.

    Beautiful decor, lovely neutral tones, a lot of thought gone into the details, very comfortable, and relaxing, great location with fantastic views, love the jeep safari to dinner at the Convento De Belmonte. Friendly hosts, lovely breakfast and afternoon tea. Had the best sleep in a longtime! simply perfect and wish we could have stayed longer.
