Ikaia River Lodge is a fisherman and nature lovers paradise, where you can relax near Keimoes - the jewel of the Northern Cape. The establishment is situated a comfortable 40km from Upington, on the main road between Keimoes and Cape Town. It is conveniently located close to the national route to Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, Augrabies Falls National Park, Riemvasmaak, Namaqualand, Upington, Namibia, Kenhardt, Johannesburg and Bloemfontein. Accommodation comprises of en-suite units, self-catering chalets and camping sites. Each unit is equipped with a kitchenette and private barbecue facilities. All units are equipped with air-conditioners and are designed with style and elegance. Ikaia also has an on-site restaurant called the River Café, where guests can enjoy a nice à la carte menu. The word "Ikaia" translates to the word "home". That is why Ikaia River Lodge strives to make all their guests feel at home.

The rooms were comfortable and beautiful, and the location was peaceful and quiet!

    Scenery, environment & tranquility was important to me for I'm an author. Staff were very friendly & my rooms/house were exceptionally spacious. Needed more time to finish my project but ja.. I loved everything about DeWerf lodge & will for sure return.

    Ikaia Lodge was lovely. Location was perfect. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both were great. The staff were very friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfy. I'll definitely stay there again when in the area.
