The location is wonderful and the staff is really friendly. The atmosphere is really relaxed, we immediately felt at home. The beach is close by and there are some cute dogs who love to join you during your beach walk. We ate at the backpackers lodge, which was great and is close by, but you can also bring your own groceries and cook at Delicious Monster. It felt like paradise here, I wish we could have stayed longer.

However, the lodge was kind enough to pack us a breakfast for the road. Location of the lodge is directly on the river Mzimvubu and the view is breathtaking.

Access up steep drive required care but wasn't a major problem. Had the place to myself with plenty of space, large deck with incredible views of 2nd beach and surround.
