Rhino Post Safari Lodge offers luxury accommodation located in the southern end of a 12000 hectare private wilderness concession in Kruger National Park. The property shares a 15 km unfenced boundary with the Mala Mala and Sabi Sand reserves.

The lodge was beautiful and the staff wonderful. Our guide James was amazing we saw everything big and small. The dinners were incredible and they do cater to dietary restrictions which was really nice to see. Breakfast was good, but average, the dinners are above and beyond. We received some muffins prior to the morning the safari and then some light snacks on the tour. There is no lunch but rather some light snacks provided which we found sufficient to tide over until dinner after the night safari as you do also get some more light snacks on the tour. This place is worth your money. Only thing i would consider is that there is no AC in the rooms, there is one fan above the bed and i would imagine in summer it would get really hot.

Jock Safari Lodge occupies a 6000-hectare bushveld site, filled with diverse wildlife. Within short walking distance are some of the oldest Bushmen rock artworks in Africa, approximately 3000 years old.

The Safaris were great, in the large concession area they go off the roads through the bush. There are several river beds. Not the focus, but the landscape is also really beautiful!

I had the pleasure of experiencing several game drives at Jock Safari Lodge recently, and I must say that the expertise and dedication of our ranger truly enhanced the entire adventure. He exhibited an exceptional knowledge of the local flora and fauna, providing insightful information and making each game drive an educational and memorable experience. His passion for wildlife conservation was evident, creating a contagious enthusiasm.

The highlights were the location of the Train above the Sabi River - unbeatable! Beautiful, well positioned pools, decks, bars and chill areas provide a world class safari and luxurious atmosphere. The food offering at all meals was the best we have experienced at any five star game lodge in South Africa - exceptional! Special dietary requirements are particularly well catered for and the all inclusive drinks policy is a bonus. Staff customer orientation is outstanding - all guest requests were accommodated with enthusiasm.

The game drives are 100% the best bit of the stay. You get basically 2 x 4hr drives which are just amazing. Our tour guide Ike was very knowledgeable and we managed to see the big 5! They have their own concession where only Jock are allowed to drive. The gin and tonic sundowners on the evening game drive always went down a treat. The lodges are really nice for when you have some down time. The sit down meals were brilliant and you never went hungry. The staff were also amazing and very attentive and always having a laugh with you.
