Located 6.6 km from Tissa Wewa, Ranakeliya Lodge - Yala provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and room service for your convenience. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. Great accommodation! We stayed in the little house which had everything we needed. The candlelit dinner was adorable (just wish we had the BBQ!) and the safari guide is amazing! The food is great all round, and there is also a lot more to do around the area than we previously thought! Perfect yala stay over.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy darts on site, or cycling in the surroundings. We arrived at the property later than expected but Anne was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was very clean and all the amenities required were available. Special mention for the mild clove scent in the room.

This hotel was actually one of the highlights of our trip. We loved the huge garden which is perfect for birdwatching. The team is amazing and accommodated us very last minute. Organized safari, transport to next place, took us to see local landscape etc. The place itself (separate buiding) is just enough away from the highway at the small creek. Exactly the place to start safari in Yala (VI) . Thanamalwila also had the cheapest "Lion" on Lanka :)

Very nice comfortable house rooms, pleasant view, beutifull birds around singing. Peacefull place with very kind and helpfull people take care of you. Lots of animals around, monkeys jumping on the trees ( but not disturbing) peacocks running, squirrels etc The food is very good - u have to try breakfast and dinner. Hightly recommend

Situlpawwa is 15 km from the lodge, while Tissa Wewa is 19 km from the property. The nearest airport is Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, 35 km from Wadula Safari - Yala. The accomodation is like a hotel in the jungle! The best kind of glamping you could ask for. Dinner is brought to your room (whilst the restaurant is under construction) and was some of the tastiest food we’ve had. The hosts will organise a safari tour for you. We picked the full day and breakfast and lunch was catered for us - more than enough food! The accomodation is on the border of Yala National Park and it was amazing to wake up to monkeys in the trees and buffalo in the garden. Highly reccomended a stay here.

There is a seating area and a kitchen complete with an oven and a microwave. Towels and bed linen are featured at Tree Tops Yala. Other facilities at Tree Tops Yala include a barbecue. We enjoy so much our stay here. Appu and his family are great, and the food was amazing. I totally recommend it!

Situlpawwa is 20 km from Yala Leopard Lodge, while Tissa Wewa is 35 km away. The nearest airport is Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, 62 km from the accommodation. This was the perfect location for our trip to the Yala reserve. I have recorded our impressions under separate cover as I feel this format does not allow us to do justice to the venue. A car rental service is available at the lodge, while cycling can be enjoyed nearby. Saraii Tree Lodge is extraordinary, the tree houses and environment are beautiful. The staff were helpful, likeable, generous and interesting with conversations and information. The little village close by has supplies, smiles and great haircuts!
