This lodge has a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking. We planned a short girls trip to Taupo with my pet dog. The accommodation was absolutely lovely, despite the bad weather. It was warm and cosy, the hosts were extremely nice. Would certainly recommend staying here multiple days to fully enjoy and relax. My dog was in heaven, huge grounds to run around and play in - one of the best pet friendly accommodations we've stayed in

Featuring an on-site tennis court, The Flying Trout Boutique Lodge is located in Taupo. Each spacious suites offers elegant décor and some provide views of the surrounding alpine area. Guests enjoy free WiFi and free breakfast daily. What a wonderful experience. We loved everything about this place, The food, the hosts and the fabulous view! Exceptionally comfortable place. Offering views of Lake Taupo and a free full breakfast prepared by a chef, Lake Taupo Lodge provides a relaxing retreat. All guest rooms feature a patio with garden views, and some have a spa bath, lake views and a fireplace. The family loved the view, the breakfast was amazing!!! Cute dogs!

Gourmet breakfast and afternoon tea are included and complimentary canapes with a glass of New Zealand wine or locally-brewed craft beer can be enjoyed with the Lodge hosts each evening. Relax by the fireplace in the shared lounge, or speak to your hosts about what to see or do in the local area. Whakaipo Lodge was a superb place to stay in every way. The owners, Garth & Angie went beyond the call to make our stay memorable & easy to highly recommend from the welcome, to the pre dinner drinks & canapes, the sharing of local knowledge & the beautifully presented, comfortable rooms. The breakfast was 10/10 using locally sourced high quality products. The coffee also got a gold star.

Set on 17 acres of countryside on the banks of the Waikato River, Huka Lodge boasts an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court, free airport transfers and a spa pool. It offers air-conditioned suites with a private terrace and lovely river views. Stunning property situated on the river that runs from Lake Taupo to the Huka Falls. The main lodge is beautifully appointed and provides seating and dining areas inside and outside. The rooms are equally wonderfully, each having access to a Porch, rolling grass and the river view.

The interiors feature wood furniture, leather lounge suites, open gas fireplaces and a collection of local artworks. Each has a beautifully equipped kitchen in which guests can self-cater or request the services of a personal chef. Bathrooms were amazing as well as the outdoor entertainment area.

The award-winning River Birches offers secluded, comfort and understated luxury accommodation, set within peaceful gardens on the banks of the Tongariro River. This boutique lodge is minutes' away from some of the river's most popular trout fishing pools and close to other natural attractions in the Taupo and Central Plateau region. Entire property is beautiful and hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Highly recommend if looking to enjoy a luxury stay!

This luxury lodge has a quiet location and wonderful views of Lake Taupo and Mount Tauhara. It offers free WiFi and large gardens.

Chalet Eiger features a spacious lounge with fireplace, a wine cellar and a sauna. There is also a home entertainment system with interactive plasma-screen TV and film/music library. Breakfast was done with tremendous care, amazing food and well displayed. Fruits of all sorts + fresh baked croissant + fresh coffee / tea and we were event offered a choice of our preferred meals (omelet / fried eggs / bacon / sausages) that would be cooked as requested. The room was spacious: king bed + dressing table + seating area + fridge + coffee making facilities + shower place + separated toilet + bath tub. The bed was very comfortable and sheets are very soft. There's a lot of other modern facilities: special lightings, ambience radio, etc. Location was about 10 mins drive from city center. Far enough for a good quiet time and close enough for easy access. View from the room is amazing. Residence dogs: Bella (black) + Rufus (white) were such a joy and treat that greets you.

A fridge, a microwave and stovetop are also provided in the kitchen, as well as a kettle. It’s close to the center of town and the room is very clean and spacious. Free parking too!

Tongariro Lodge is located in 22 acres of secluded grounds, surrounded by a beautiful garden landscape and along the banks of Tongariro River.

Tongariro Lodge Restaurant specializes in traditional New Zealand dishes, guests enjoy meals by an open fire. We were a family of 5 adults. The house we received was well equipped, clean and tidy and gave a very calm and pleasant atmosphere.
