This is probably by far the best motel I’ve ever stayed in. I only wish I was there more than one night! Cameron was wonderful and very easy to get ahold of. He had a binder with great suggestions about places to go, eat, see and more. Govt should support the tourist industry to upgrade the cottages and motels along cavendish. Hasn’t been anything done to these places since they were put there unless it completely malfunctions. Facility was definitely not worth the military net but staff were ever so friendly and accommodating.

It was 5 minutes away from shining waters, sandspit, and many other restaurants, shopping, etc. The kids especially liked having the pool right on site. The staff were so very accommodating - opening the pool early, and letting us use the laundry. I also want to make a super special shout-out to Leo, who works the breakfast bar. He was amazing, we all loved his energy, and awesome personality! We hope to visit again 🥰

This was our first time staying at The Boardwalk motel, and honestly we regretted not booking for longer as it was so nice! The rooms were clean. The beds were cozy. It had a heat pump that helped keep the room cool. A bbq! A fridge and a little kitchenette area. It’s literally right in the middle of everything. Cavy beach, the boardwalk, sandspit, adventure zone, and all the restaurants. We will definitely return next summer :)

Kitchen was more than adequate - full oven, microwave, toaster...even a tiny dishwasher. Dishwasher and dish soap and cleaning material included. The gas station just behind the motel has a lot of the little things - milk, eggs, bread - or there's a grocery store just a few km down the road. Beds were comfortable Cameron was very hospitable, very welcoming, and even provided suggestions for close restaurants providing certain foods, best close beaches, touristic sites, shopping places, etc. Really appreciated that. Making reservations, checking in and out as well as questions/emails were accomplished with ease.
