The sand bath option is unusual, and the foot bath avail is nice too. Even as the staff mostly cannot speak english well, they were very helpful and assisted to their best efforts. The shop in lobby level is interesting with things to purchase.

We did not book the hotel with meal but there are 2 diners at the lobby floor. Highly recommend the Japanese restaurant and if possible, book the course set in advance. The food is beyond perfection and the price is reasonable. We booked the family room and it is by far the biggest hotel room we stayed in Japan. Bath hall is also impressively huge. People from the town would come here to take a bath and meal. very nice experience.

The check-in and check-out were very easy. The bungalow is amazing. Great furniture, very clean, and includes a full kitchen. Washing machine and dryer are also available. The toilet plays classical music. The bed was the most comfortable bed that we slept in while in Japan. A bit pricey, but absolutely amazing. Wish we had stayed longer.
