THE ADAMS - Self Check In Hotel

Hotel in Baden Baden Old Town, Baden-Baden

Set in Baden-Baden, 7 km from Train Station Baden-Baden, THE ADAMS - Self Check In Hotel features rooms with city views and free WiFi. The apartment was in walking distance to the major sites of Baden-Baden including the parks and city center, the thermen spas, shopping, food and the casino. The toiletries smelled amazing! Coffee with creamer, comfortable bedding and a view over a pretty courtyard were all features that made The Adams feel very posh and modern but at a very reasonable price! We highly recommend a stay!

Hotel Wehra

Hotel in Wehr

Set in Wehr and within 20 km of Roman Town of Augusta Raurica, Hotel Wehra features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic! I'm sorry I missed it the second morning, as it does not begin until 7am. The room was perfectly clean. The shower didn't drain right the first morning; I mentioned it at the front desk and they fixed it that day while I was out.

FAQs about hotels in Black Forest

A Forest Full of Surprises

A mysterious mountain range in south-western Germany, the Black Forest evokes images of wild, dark forests and quiet paths with hidden castles and ruins. In fact, this is a very vibrant region with popular wine routes, roaring waterfalls and charming little towns, always full of things to see and do.

However, the biggest kick comes from the Black Forest’s nature and landscape -of its densely forested mountain peaks, Feldberg is the highest at 1,493 metres and the birthplace of the Danube River. Follow its hiking footpaths to see the Titisee and Schluchsee lakes, the most famous German waterfalls of the Triberg and the popular River Wutach gorge.

The region is famous for its crafts, particularly the precision clock making and wood crafting, both coming together in the art of cuckoo clocks, symbolic of the entire Black Forest. There are not as famous as a certain delicacy though: the renowned Black Forest cake, a delicious combination of chocolate, sour cherries, Kirch brandy and cream. An absolute must-try!

From Freiburg to Baden-Baden, from Freudenstadt to Gengenbach, and from 5 star hotels to charming guest houses built in the local style, Booking.com has plenty accommodation on offer for your Black Forest trip.
