Located in Mérida’s historic centre, Hotel Paula Films Collection is 400 metres from the Roman Forum and 250 metres from the train station. To be honest, we weren't expecting much from a 2 stars hotel. We couldn't be more wrong. The hotel was one of the cleanest we've been to, the staff was amazing, the rooms are beautifull and very funcional, the bathrooms are very modern and every thing works as it should. The location is the best, quiet, and you can walk to nearly every historical sights. We loved it!

Housed in a former convent, built in the 15th century, the Parador de Plasencia hotel has kept its stunning, original architecture, including spacious hallways, archways and courtyards. To stay this hotel exceeded my expectations! Hotel is located in an old monastery building. The way how they could manage to preserve and emphasize this antiquity is impressive! Concerning facilities, cleanliness and comfort - all are perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hope, I will have a chance back to Plasencia in order to stay in this great hotel again!

The bed was very comfortable, the airconditioning worked well (very necessary in Extremadura in mid-summer) and the bathroom was clean and very serviceable. It would have been nice to have an electric coffee machine, but there were many restaurants close by that served coffee and breakfast at very reasonable prices.
