A nice view of the the town hall. The bathroom is nice as well, with a big shower. The room has plenty of power outlets and a comfy sofa.

Flexibility at check-in as it turned out that the hotel was closed on Sundays. I had booked the room online only an hour earlier - no mention of the closing. The phone number on the door put me in touch with their receptionist who arrived in less than two minutes. Friendly service. Big breakfast buffet, if you like the traditional way: oatmeal, Karelian pastries, apples and jams of the season....bacon and eggs.

Location in the center of the town. Bus station, grocery stores, restaurant and bakery in 200 meters. Easy place to come and go. Helpful staff. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but kept the hunger away for few hours.

This hotel is right by the River Pielisjoki and 200 metres from Joensuu Station. It has a restaurant, pub and a nightclub. Free Wi-Fi is included in all rooms at Original Sokos Hotel Kimmel Joensuu. We had an excellent stay here at this hotel. It is across the way from the train station, so it is very convenient. The hotel is large and the rooms are modern and clean. We had great breakfasts and also visited the hotel's sauna for an extra 15 euros. It had two hot tubs, a cold tub, sauna, steam room, and an "experience" shower not to be missed. A great hotel!

Set in Koli National Park, this hotel offers ski-to-door access from Ukko-Koli ski slope. It has a grill restaurant and spa with indoor pools, outdoor hot tubs and 3 saunas. Wi-Fi is free. Great view and location, good breakfast and restaurant, terrace with a view, nice staff, the FREE sauna in 3rd floor was a hidden gem. A lot better than the spa.
