The location is secluded, about an hr drive from the Gorges du Verdon where we'd visited for the day, and stayed of Trigance enroute back to Nice. I loved the fact that it was a Castle, it was unlike any other accommodation experience we'd had in France, just so majestic. It also felt more like a 4 star and not 3 star as rated because of the great service, cleanliness, room size and comfort, restaurant option, and just general feeling of the place. The rooftop terrace was also just amazing.

the location (La Palud) is ideal to enjoy Les Gorges du Verdon area, and all outdoor activities that this region has to offer. The view over the mountain and gorges from the hotel is stunning. the restaurant is excellent and the wine choice is really good. we enjoyed it so much that we had diner at the restaurant every evening of our stay . why bother going somewhere else ? the staff at the hotel was both very friendly and very effective. We felt at home !

Great place to stay at. Good location that is close Valensole, with its lavender fields and the Gorges du Verdon (as our particular highlights). Really nice countryside environment with a fabulous restaurant that is part of the hotel in which we had a delightful dinner with a great view of the valley on a lovely terrace. The rooms were spacious and had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area. Thank you!

We really enjoyed this hotel. It is located perfectly to the village nearby with amazing restaurants, but most importantly located very close to Gorges du Verdon. The lake is a 10-15 minute drive and we really wish we stayed more here. Breakfast was also very nice offering 3 pastries, yogurt, bread with jam and butter, OJ and a hot drink of your choice. The interior was also wonderful and the staff is friendly. Parking is huge and easy

Very basic hotel for 1 night trip to enjoy lake saint-croix and gorges du Verdon. Location is without any dubt a plus, near the small city center. The room was quite confortable, large, although very essential. It was quite hot but fortunately a portable fan was there and helped a lot to refresh the room, especially during the night for sleeping. Shower was ok. Parking is feasible everywhere, also near the hotel.

The view was incredible. The room was very spacious and affordable. The bathroom was incredibly large, clean, and modern. The decor is great. The location is as perfect as it gets. The setting is idyllic on top of a bridge with a waterfall nearby. Be sure to go to the Gorges du Verdon and rent a paddleboat, kayak, electric boat (book in advance). The Gorges is minutes away!

Hotel's location is perfect for visiting Gorges du Verdon (some 10 minutes drive from hotel) and from hotel it's easy to walk to the Moustiers Saint-Marie centre. Pool area was nice with some good views, but in June pool wasn't heated so it was quite cold to swim. Hotel is just fine to stay at 1 night, but I couldn't imagine staying for longer.

The hotel is located perfectly near the mouth of the Gorges du Verdon. Also only a short, uphill hike to the cute village of Rougon. Staff is extremely helpful and professional, even arranging a taxi service to take our packs from there to our next hotel so we could hike the Gorge without heavy packs. Restaurant also very good.

Cozy hotel with very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Turned out to be a good location for a round trip around Gorges Du Verdon We had a small room with separate beds but the separated beds were the only downside during the stay. Breakfast was good with excellent croissants and serval homemade dishes including yoghurt.

Well equipped. Lovely sun terrace front and back. Very good communication from the owner, who did everything to help us. I heartily recommend this apartment, ideally located to explore the beautiful surrounding villages and Gorges du Verdon.

We stayed here as there were limited hotel options near Gorges du Verdon. Facilities such as the swimming pool looked good in the pictures, but unfortunately we didnt have time to make use of them. On-site parking was useful.

Beautiful spacious apartments with awesome view from the balcony. It's in a quiet village, but very close to lavender fields and Gorges du Verdon. Hosts are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is well located near to the Sainte croix lake and not too far from the gorges du Verdon (30 min). The hotel has a restaurant where you can also take beer.

a wonderful apartment close to all the attractions in the “Gorges du Verdon” area. sparkling clean, with many amenities and a great host. Highly recommended !

Lovely hotel with private parking and in walking distance to the village and a quick drive to the Gorges du Verdon on the Saint Croix Lake.

beautiful view and atmosphere. very clean and relaxing, everything very simple and at the same time we had all what it was necessary for our staying. the Mobil house was well organized and clean. Very quiet place to relax and enjoy the nature. fresh bread, croissant and pan au chocolate every morning! it was lovely!
